1. General Information
THE VÉRO Townhouse Killarney is a boutique accommodation property located on Muckross Road, Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.
These Terms & Conditions apply to direct reservations made through our website and to stays at our property. Reservations made through third-party booking platforms are also subject to the applicable platform’s terms and the conditions agreed at booking.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Booking Policy
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. A valid credit or debit card may be required to secure a booking.
Group reservations of four or more rooms may be subject to additional conditions, communicated before confirmation.
Only registered guests may stay overnight, and room occupancy limits must be respected.
3. Payment Policy
All rates are quoted in euro (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment may be required at the time of booking, before arrival or at the property, depending on the selected rate and booking channel.
Certain promotional or non-refundable rates may require advance payment.
We do not require a general security deposit for guest damage.
Any additional charges for services, damage or exceptional cleaning will be assessed and collected in accordance with the agreed booking terms, applicable payment authorisations and relevant law.
4. Cancellation and No-Shows
For standard flexible direct reservations, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time.
Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival and no-shows will incur a charge equivalent to the first night’s stay, unless otherwise stated in the confirmed booking conditions.
Non-refundable rates and promotional offers are subject to their specific booking conditions and applicable law.
For reservations made through Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or other booking platforms, the cancellation policy agreed at the time of reservation applies.
5. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: 3:00 PM–9:00 PM.
Check-out: by 11:00 AM.
Guests arriving outside check-in hours should contact us in advance.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges where agreed.
6. Children, Cots and Extra Beds
Children are welcome, subject to the maximum occupancy of the booked room.
Baby cots are available on request, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to confirm arrangements and any applicable charges.
Extra beds may be available on request, depending on the room and availability. Additional charges vary and will be confirmed before the arrangement is accepted.
7. Damage and Breakages
Guests are expected to treat the property, furnishings and equipment with reasonable care.
Guests may be held responsible for damage caused by themselves, members of their party or visitors, beyond normal wear and tear. This includes damage to televisions, furniture, bedding, windows, doors, bathroom fixtures and other property contents.
Accidental damage or breakages should be reported to management as soon as reasonably possible.
Where damage occurs, THE VÉRO may seek reimbursement for reasonable, documented repair or replacement costs, taking into account the age and condition of the damaged item.
Guests will be informed of the damage and proposed charges, with supporting information provided where appropriate.
For reservations made through third-party platforms, damage claims and payments will follow the applicable platform’s procedures. For direct bookings, additional charges will be collected only where permitted by the agreed payment authorisation and applicable law, or requested separately.
8. Smoking and Additional Cleaning
Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor communal areas.
Where smoking, vaping or the condition of a room requires cleaning substantially beyond normal housekeeping, reasonable additional cleaning or repair costs may be charged.
9. Pets
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, at €15 per pet, per night, unless otherwise stated in the booking conditions.
Pets must be supervised and must not disturb other guests. Guests should provide suitable bedding for their pets.
Guests may be responsible for reasonable additional cleaning or damage costs caused by their pets, beyond normal wear and tear.
Assistance dogs are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
10. Guest Conduct
Guests must respect other guests, staff and the property.
Excessive noise, threatening behaviour, deliberate damage and activities that endanger others are prohibited.
Management may require guests engaging in serious misconduct to leave, subject to applicable law and any relevant refund rights.
11. Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
Guests should secure their vehicles and belongings. Liability for loss or damage will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
12. Accessibility
We have a wheelchair-accessible room. Guests with accessibility requirements should contact us before booking to confirm suitability and availability.
Special requests are subject to availability unless expressly confirmed.
13. Liability and Personal Belongings
Guests are encouraged to secure valuables and report concerns promptly.
THE VÉRO takes reasonable care to maintain a safe environment. Liability for loss, theft, damage, injury or disruption will be determined in accordance with applicable Irish law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will apply to future reservations and will not retrospectively alter agreed booking conditions except where permitted by law.
